Visit Norfolk

Holidaymakers choose to visit Norfolk for its 90 miles of unspoilt coastline, countryside and the Broads National Park. It borders Lincolnshire to the northwest, Cambridgeshire to the west and southwest, and Suffolk to the south.

Norfolk is a perfect place to visit if you are looking to escape the general hustle and bustle of everyday life. The combination of nature reserves, seaside villages and picturesque market towns make the county an absolute pleasure to stay in.

Norwich is the county town of Norfolk and unofficially seen as East Anglia’s capital. The vibrant city is home to the University of East Anglia and is bustling with restaurants, bars and pubs. Norwich Cathedral and Castle are amongst some of the many attractions to visit whilst in the city.

For those looking to kick back and relax, Norfolk has some of the best sandy beaches in the country. Wells-next-the-Sea has a lovely wide sandy beach, backed by pinewoods, and surrounded by colourful beach huts. Holkham Bay has been voted the best beach in Britain, with its enormous and unspoilt sandy beach land. There is a lovely walk through the pine woods which leads out to the picturesque beach.

For keen cyclists and ramblers, the Norfolk Broads offers endless footpaths and quiet country roads to explore, as well as the National Park. Broads National Park is Britain’s largest protected wetland and nature reserve of international importance.
